What We Do
Reiki is a relaxation technique based on the principle that the practitioner can channel energy into the client by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
What to expect during a Reiki session
During an hour Reiki session, I begin by welcoming you, asking how you are feeling and if there is anything you would like to focus on during your session. You will then be led to the Reiki table where you will lie, face up and fully clothed, for the duration of your session. At this time I will set an intention for the session and ask that you think of anything you would like to release or receive.
I will be using various hand placements on the body (always being respectful of your private space) with hands lightly touching or just above the skin. During this time, you may experience a sense of deep relaxation and peace. You may or may feel heat or cold radiating from my hands. It is completely normal to experience different sensations and you may even fall asleep. Not to worry, however, you will still receive the same benefits from your Reiki session whether asleep or awake!
Distance Reiki is performed with the client in one location and myself in another.

What is TRX?

What is a Bootcamp Workout?
It is basically a type of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) — bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity. A boot camp workout also can include functional fitness, such as using whole-body, multi joint exercises that simulate movements people do in life. The workouts will vary based on the focus of each class. Although this is a more intense workout, all exercises can be modified to all fitness levels. This style of exercise is fun, upbeat and great for building camaraderie.

Vinyasa means the movement between poses and is coordinated with the breath. During Vinyasa Flow Yoga, we will string postures together so that you move from one to another in a seamless, flowing way. Aerial yoga is a type of yoga which uses a hammock to allow students to perform postures that they may not ordinarily be able to attempt on the yoga mat.
Aerial yoga is thought to be particularly beneficial for students who spend a long time sitting, or who have back pain, because it has a decompressing effect on the body.
Is is suggested that in addition to the emotional, physical and spiritual benefits of all yoga practice, Aerial yoga has particular benefits for strengthening and stretching the whole body, decompressing the spine, improving circulation, boosting digestion and lifting one's mood. In particular, Aerial yoga strengthens the core as well as the arms and legs, to support the body in mid-air.
Although Aerial yoga can be performed by people with all levels of fitness, it is not recommended for pregnant women or those who suffer from vertigo, due to the flips and inversions practiced during the class.
Kidding Around Yoga-Children's
Every Kidding Around Yoga class offers a complete, age-appropriate Yoga practice including breathing instruction, relaxation techniques, stretching and strengthening poses, all using fun-filled music, games, and imagination. KAY'S secret is our playfulness, keeping your child motivated, excited, and moving. This is not your typical Yoga class. A KAY class gets children singing, dancing, skipping, marching, jogging, shaking, laughing, hopping, limbo-ing, and storytelling ALL while practicing Yoga to original KAY music.

In this class we will slow things down and focus on stretching and breathing. But you can expect to reap the greatest benefits of yoga when you slow things and take a gentler route. Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga which utilizes props to make it easier for the body to get into certain poses, and thus, surrender to the pose. Suitable for all levels.

Meditation is the practice of turning or focusing your thoughts inward. It is said that it was first developed in India around 5,000 to 3,500 BCE. In our meditation sessions, I will guide you to focus on a daily mantra and walk you through breathing and relaxation. The benefits of Meditation are extensive and backed by much scientific evidence. 20-30 minutes of daily meditation has significant health benefits.
